Our Commitment to Transparency
At DRF DISTRIBUTION INC., we believe that clear communication is the foundation of every successful freight delivery. Understand the terms that protect your cargo and ensure seamless transit across New York.
Terms & Conditions
1. Definitions and Parties
When we refer to "DRF DISTRIBUTION INC.", we're talking about our operations based at 6722 RIDGE BLVD, BROOKLYN NY. The "Customer" refers to any entity booking logistics, transport, or warehousing services. We use the term "Cargo" for all goods, freight, or shipments moved via our transit network. Are we on the same page? Great.
These terms constitute a binding agreement. By requesting a quote or booking cargo delivery, you'll be agreeing to these frameworks. No exceptions.
2. Scope of Transportation Services
We provide comprehensive freight transportation and forwarding. This includes local delivery within New York and broader cargo transportation logistics. We're committed to your deadlines, yet please note that transit times are estimates, not guarantees unless specifically contracted as "Expedited Time-Critical".
Warehousing services are subject to specific safety protocols. We don't accept hazardous materials without advance written verification and specialized permit documentation.
3. Liability and Cargo Protection
Ever wondered how cargo insurance works in a transit? We maintain standard carrier liability coverage as required by New York State law. However, for high-value forwarding, we strongly recommend additional first-party insurance. Our liability is limited to the declared value of the freight at the time of booking.
Claims for damage must be noted on the Proof of Delivery (POD) document immediately. If it's not on the POD, it's significantly harder to process. We're rigorous about this purely to prevent transit fraud.
4. Rates, Fuel Surcharges, and Payment
Quotations are valid for 15 days from the date of issuance. Fuel surcharges are adjusted weekly following the national average index. Why? Because the logistics market moves fast, and we need to keep our trucks fueled to keep your business moving.
Invoices are due Net 30 for established accounts. New customers are required to pay via credit card or wire transfer prior to initial cargo release. late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly service charge. /* TODO: mobile optimization for invoice table */
